Cannon: This cannon of the Jaipur kings mounted on the
topmost hill in Jaipur is one of the biggest cannons. The wheel
of the carries is 11 ft in dia ;-). It was never used in war cos
nobody wanted to invade jaipur cos of their strong army and
the fortification.
It was test fired once, used 100 KG of finest gun powder available
in Jaipur. The cannon ball fell on a neighboring country 40 mile
away from the point of firing creating a creator which is a well now.
Also it is said that many pregnant women is Jaipur had miscarriage
due to the recoil and the pressure wave created during the firing…
Bush does not know about this hidden WMD…… ;-)

The princes: as per the story the princes is
waiting for her lover and she is sad that he has not
come. The sculpture reflects the sadness or Vishadam
in her face.

Hawa mehal : Built in 1799 , is a stunning example of Rajput artistry. The mahal is made of pink stone. Infact the entire old Jaipur is made of this pink stone. Hawamahal was made enabling ladies of the royal families to watch the everyday life in the city without being seen by others.
